Recognizing that individuals struggling to put food on the table or to pay their rent are likely to be lacking other basic needs such as healthcare and child care, the Broward Common Eligibility Collaborative set out to identify a solution that would make it easier for people in need to identify and access the full complement of services for which they are eligible. The Collaborative quickly looked to the success that neighboring Palm Beach County had achieved following its implementation of One-e-App, and launched that solution in Broward County, Florida in Spring 2013.
